Lucy started working at Helensburgh Eyecare in 2018 while she was studying Optometry at Glasgow Caledonian University, subsequently graduating in 2021 and completed her pre registration year here at Helensburgh Eyecare in 2022, which made her a fully qualified optometrist. Lucy most recently completed her independent prescribing qualification in 2026 which now gives her the ability to prescribe and treat a wide range of more complex eye conditions and emergency situations in practice day to day which helps to reduce the involvement of the hospital eye service or GP.
